Governing polycentric urban regions

چکیده

Widely recognized as an empirical reality, important analytical framework and a normative goal for territorial development policies, polycentric urban regions (PURs) are the subject of concerted international interest among those charged with planning governing cities regions. And yet, why does so much research on not really engage PUR concept? With aim renewing debates surrounding governance PURs model spatial development, we reveal significant body hidden before proceeding to identify dimensions future PURS+ agenda which has critical questions at its centre.
